Sedona Cathedral Hideaway Bed and Breakfast:
Arizona, An Explorer's Guide Review
(928) 203-4178 or (866) 973-3662, West Sedona.
This ultra-boutique hideaway has up-close views of Cathedral Rock,
one of Sedona's vibratory centers. Whether you believe in the powers
of vortexes or not, the views are magnificent and inspiring. The
trail to the formation is only a few minutes' walk away. However,
the formation is only one facet of this hidden gem. When you don't
want anyone else to know where you are, you want total romance,
and/or you just want to bask in some self-indulgent doting, this
hideaway can become a destination in itself. Open space, so attractive
to the human spirit, plays a big role here. The home's huge rooms
have a line of windows that bring the outdoors in. Room amenities
like comfort-number king-sized beds, fireplace, double shower, jacuzzi
tub, WiFi, surround sound, iPod jacks, DVD Player, flat-screen TV,
mini-fridge, microwave and personal safe match those found in any
large resort. But the 4,600 square foot hideaway has only two rooms.
Innkeeper-owners Kathy and Larry attend to your every need and request,
from a gourmet breakfast (included with accommodations and served
where you like) to facials, massages, and anti-aging treatments
(extra). The 1-acre property has a bocce ball court, labyrinth,
and sun decks for you to soak in the rays from the sun, energy from
Cathedral Rock, or your own glow from all things wonderful.
$285 - $340/night. $35.00 for each additional person.
